Wise Words by Secretary of GACS

Message from The MD

Dear Students, Parents, Teachers, and Respected Members of the Community,

It is with immense pride and heartfelt gratitude that I address you as the Secretary of Gyamar Arts and Culture Society. Our society has always been dedicated to the upliftment and empowerment of tribal communities, and the establishment of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Nyapin, stands as a beacon of our unwavering commitment to education and cultural preservation.

The journey of EMRS Nyapin began with a dream—to create a space where children from tribal and rural backgrounds could access quality education, nurturing not only their academic aspirations but also their character, creativity, and cultural roots. Today, as I see the progress made by our students and the dedication of our teachers, I am reminded of the immense potential that lies within each child and the responsibility we carry to help them unlock it.

At EMRS, we are more than just a school; we are a community. Our aim is not only to impart knowledge but to create an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their full potential. From providing free education and hostel facilities to fostering extracurricular talents and life skills, we strive to ensure that no child is left behind. Our classrooms may be simple, but the dreams we cultivate within them are boundless.

As the Secretary, I am deeply grateful for the trust and cooperation of our parents, the hard work and commitment of our teachers, and the enthusiasm and resilience of our students. Together, we are laying the foundation for a brighter future, one where tribal communities can thrive, not just academically but also socially and economically.

Our mission goes beyond academics—it encompasses the holistic development of each student. We aim to instill values of integrity, respect, and perseverance, preparing them to be not just successful professionals but also responsible citizens and torchbearers of their rich cultural heritage. By bridging the gap between tradition and modernity, EMRS Nyapin aspires to be a model institution where innovation meets identity.

As we continue this journey, I encourage everyone—students, parents, teachers, and community members—to remain united in our shared vision. Your collective efforts and support are what make this dream possible. Together, let us work to ensure that EMRS Nyapin becomes a shining example of what can be achieved when education, dedication, and community come together with a shared purpose.

Let us build a future where every child dares to dream, works to achieve, and proudly carries forward the legacy of their culture. The journey may have its challenges, but with determination and collaboration, I am confident that we will continue to create a positive impact that lasts for generations to come.

Warm regards,

Sir
