Shaping Futures, Empowering Communities

A Message from the Principal

It is with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility that I share the vision and journey of Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS), Nyapin. Since its inception on 5th September 2022, the school has been a beacon of hope and opportunity for young minds in tribal communities. Starting with an inaugural batch of 30 boys and 30 girls, EMRS has remained steadfast in its commitment to nurturing academic excellence and personal growth. Each year, through a transparent and merit-based entrance examination, 30 boys and 30 girls join our school in Class VI, marking the beginning of a transformative journey.

At EMRS, we believe education is the most powerful tool for empowering communities and shaping a brighter future. Our co-educational institution provides not just free education but also comprehensive support, including hostel facilities, nutritious meals, and all necessary supplies. This ensures that every child, regardless of their background, has access to a nurturing environment where they can focus on learning, growing, and achieving their dreams.

Our school is governed by the Gyamar Art and Culture Society, under the aegis of the National Education Society for Tribal Students (NESTS), which operates within the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. This partnership underscores our shared commitment to uplifting tribal communities through inclusive and equitable education.

Our Vision and Mission

The vision of EMRS is to become a catalyst for change, driving socio-economic development in tribal regions by empowering students through education. Our mission is to foster excellence with equity by ensuring quality education for Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities, including boys, girls, and children from remote rural areas. We are dedicated to creating a platform where every child can dream big, work hard, and achieve their full potential, in line with the aspirations of an independent and progressive India.

We stand for education that transcends barriers, bridges gaps, and creates opportunities for all. At EMRS, we are not just building scholars; we are shaping compassionate, confident, and responsible citizens of tomorrow.

Our Aim

Our primary aim is to provide quality education at the upper primary, secondary, and senior secondary levels to students from Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) in tribal-dominated areas. While academics remain our cornerstone, we place equal emphasis on extracurricular activities, life skills, and holistic development. Our approach helps students unlock their potential, gain exposure to new opportunities, and ultimately bridge the socio-economic gap between tribal and general populations.

Through our carefully designed programs, students are encouraged to think critically, act ethically, and dream ambitiously. Whether it’s excelling in academics, participating in cultural activities, or honing their leadership skills, EMRS students are provided with every resource to succeed in their personal and professional endeavors.

A Message to Students and Parents

To our students, I urge you to make the most of the opportunities presented to you at EMRS. Embrace challenges, learn with an open mind, and never stop striving for excellence. Remember, education is not just about academic achievements but about becoming a well-rounded individual who contributes positively to society.

To our parents and guardians, I express my deepest gratitude for entrusting us with the education of your children. Your unwavering support inspires us to go above and beyond in creating a school environment that fosters growth, learning, and inclusivity.

As we continue on this journey of growth and transformation, I invite every stakeholder—students, parents, teachers, and the wider community—to join hands in building a future where education is the cornerstone of progress. Together, we can ensure that EMRS Nyapin not only fulfills its mission but also sets a benchmark for excellence in tribal education across the nation.

Let us dream big, work hard, and create a brighter tomorrow, one student at a time.

Warm regards,

 Principal
